  • 5 Things You Didn’t Know You Could Do In The Outer Worlds

    It has been a few weeks since the last role-playing game was released by Obsidian Entertainment, The Outer Worlds. And since the game is not too long, we assume that most players have come a long way or even defeated it. And with the same people, we noticed that a surprising number of them lacked important features or mechanisms for their entire game.


    Yes, the tutorial at the beginning is useful and the information is technically present in Codex. But in this jewel of absurd space travel, there are many little gadgets a little hidden. Here we want to give players 5 things you didn't know you could do in the outside world.


    1. Holster your weapon

    The Outer Worlds has no problem if you leave your weapon outside at any time. But we feel strange if we put a gun in front of each seller. This additional feature thus facilitates immersion. And it's easy! Just hold the reload button and you will take the equipped weapon.


    2. Complete all aspects of the optional mission objectives for an additional experience

    This style of play is only apparent to old obsidian or role-playing fans, but it is quite easy to "play" the mission system. Basically, there are optional objectives for a series of tasks in the outside world, sometimes even more. These objectives are updated automatically regardless of the decision.


    3. Play on both sides

    Most "choice" role-playing games like to create a gray area, but most of the time, it's about helping all lost, good or bad children.


    And Obsidian has returned to show us the path to moral neutrality in the face of conflicts in the outside worlds. At first glance, most appearances are in black and white, controlling a business or freedom at a price. Basically, Phineas or painting. But once the players are gone, they will notice the amount of paths actually available in the game.


    4. Avoid fighting in 90% of clashes

    We are pleased that this conversational design is still present after the completion of Outer Worlds. Players can avoid most battles in the game if they wish.


    5. Stealth Caps with melee weapons

    This is never indicated directly in the tutorial section of the game, but melee weapons are considered "silent attacks." To be fair, this is only the case when there is no one else present and almost all weapons work as a silent murder when they are in a closed room and shoot only 1 to 2 shots.


    The way stealth kills work in the outside worlds is strange. It's a bit too simplistic for us, but we get used quite quickly. However, we have discovered that the use of the strangely prismatic physical power attack of the Prismatic Hammer is the best way to achieve a stealth melee construction.
